Save the date for the science communication seminar in January 2025

Welcome to the seminar Is current knowledge brokering impactful? Insights and oversights from science-policy interface at the Swedish-Finnish Cultural Centre Hanaholmen, Finland, on the 9th of January 2025. Hanaholmen is located in Espoo, close to the capital Helsinki. The event is intended for science communicators from the Nordic and Baltic countries. Welcome to meet international colleagues, network, and discuss themes that unite us all.

The seminar will cover topics such as:

  • Insights and oversights of measuring impact
  • Co-opetition in impact work locally and internationally – What happens when institutions both co-operate and compete?
  • Innovative practices in the age of poly-crisis – How does the science community deal with different types of ongoing crisis?

The registration starts on the 20th of September 2024. Save the date for the seminar in January and be ready to register in September. The seminar has a limited number of spots available.

The seminar is organized by The Federation of Finnish Learned Societies, Swedish-Finnish Cultural Centre Hanaholmen and The Finnish Academy of Science and Letters. It is part of Finland’s largest science festival the Science Forum which is organized from the 8th to 12th of January 2025.
