Maupertuis Program: Call for proposals open

Spring 2020 and COVID-19
Following careful consideration of the current course of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Finnish Academy of Science and Letetrs has made the decision to postpone all gatherings and meetings to Autumn. At the moment we are planning for our Autumn programme to go ahead but given the fluidity of the situation we will be closely monitoring government advice.

Science advice initiative Sofi, website now open
Sofi is a novel national-level initiative focusing on building next generation scientific advisory system in Finland. The three-year work (2019–2021) is coordinated by the Finnish Academy of Science and Letters.

Latest book in the series Humaniora is “Water in the Medieval Hispanic Society. Economic, Social and Religious Implications”. The book is now for sale at Tiedekirja.
