Starting from 22.12., the office of the Finnish Academy of Science and Letters will be on Christmas break. We will be available once again on 3.1.2024.
This year we made a Christmas donation to the Mannerheim League for Child Welfare (MLL), which does valuable work to promote the welfare of children. The MLL is also close to the Academy for historical reasons: the founding meeting of the MLL was held in 1920 at the home of C. G. Mannerheim in Mariankatu – in the present premises of the Finnish Academy of Sciences and Letters.
We would like to wish everyone happy holidays and thank our partners, members, and everyone who attended our events this year!
