Academic Eva-Mari Aro selected as a Fellow of the Royal Society

Eva-Mari Aro, Professor of Molecular Plant Biology, has been invited to become a Fellow of Royal Society in recognition of her substantial contributions to photosynthesis research.

The Royal Society includes some of the world’s most distinguished scientists from all fields of science. The Royal Society is the oldest science academy in continuous existence.

Eva-Mari Aro is a Research Director at the Department of Life Technologies at the University of Turku. Aro is a member of the Finnish Academy of Science and Letters and has served as President of the Board in 2014-2015. The Academy warmly congratulates its member!
