The themed evening of the Finnish Academy of Science and Letters in December was dedicated to mathematics and science.
During the event, the 2022 Väisälä Prizes of the Finnish Academy of Science and Letters were awarded, and the prize winners gave presentations on their research. The prizes were awarded to Assistant Professor Vesa Julin and Assistant Professor Katrianne Lehtipalo.
The recipients of the grants awarded by the Vilho, Yrjö and Kalle Väisälä Foundation of the Finnish Academy of Science and Letters were also published at the event.
