The Väisälä project grant is intended for researchers working in Finland at the early stages of the tenure track (assistant professor level) to set up their research group and cover the group’s research costs. Eligible fields are physics, mathematics, geophysics, astronomy, and meteorology. The applicant must represent at least one of these fields. The promotion of multidisciplinary is considered an advantage.
The application period in 2024 is 1.1.–31.1.2024.
