Academy Award 2018 to Academician Eva-Mari Aro
Academician Eva-Mari Aro was awarded the Finnish Academy of Science and Letters Academy Award 2018. Academician Aro, molecular biologist and professor at the University of Turku, is one of the world’s leading experts on photosynthesis.

Väisälä Prize 2017
Väisälä Prizes 2017 were given to two distinguished scientists Professor Camilla Hollanti (Aalto University) and Professor Sabrina Maniscalco (University of Turku and Aalto University).
